I will apply this knowledge to transparently inform students, maintain up-to-date documents, and collaborate with the Performance Group, ensuring my institution complies with Florida regulations.
My biggest takeaway is the importance of understanding our policies and procedures to ensure that we are protecting our students and uphold the integrity our institution.
I have learned from this module, the importance of the catalog, organizational chart, and the need to meet the Director of placement. Not being "called" an advisor, or counselor, is also new knowledge.

The information shared was about the importance of the Resource Notebook and all of the pertinent information that is needed to be held within it. I also learned about the need for the marketing materials to meet specific standards as set forth within the Rules. The need for CEUs when renewing our license was very important to be aware of to be successful.

I learned that staying up to date with not only what courses your institution offers, but also with the regulatory guidelines is extremely important. Completing annual training on these regulations is absolutely necessary for this.
