Through the Title IX and VAWA training, I learned about protections against discrimination, sexual harassment, and violence, as well as reporting procedures and institutional responsibilities. I will apply this knowledge by promoting a respectful environment and following proper reporting guidelines to help maintain a safe campus community.
Everyone has role to report a crime anytime they have seen it. Making sure that everyone is safe.
The Title IX Coordinator has a lot of responsibilities and should not assigned to other duties unless maybe in a small college setting. The VAWA overlaps with Title IX because VAWA crimes are a form of sex discrimination prohibited by Title IX if the conduct is sufficiently serious to deny or limit a student's ability to participate in or benefit from the school's education programs.

I've learned that Title IX, VAWA, The Clery Act all were created to protect students against violence, sexual assault, for the protection of gender equality, the responsibility and procedures of reporting crimes against students and employees. I will continue the training and familiarize myself on reporting any crime committed. Having learned how important it is that every office, department and person in the insritution's community is responsible for the victims' safety, I will interact and work with everyone in ensuring the victims safety by helping with resources, information, procedures to do so.
Everyone working on campus has either a direct or indirect obligation to report any title 9 level misconduct
Each of us has an important role in reporting a crime act to protect students and campus community.
I have learned a great deal about the importance if reporting issues with relation to title IX.
Title IX outlines responsibilities not only for the Title IX Coordinator and their deputies, but also for all Responsible Employees—which includes anyone involved in educational programs or activities, such as faculty, success coaches, student finance staff, bursar staff, career services, administrators, and other institutional employees.

In this topic, I came to understand the importance of reporting sexual misconduct. It is a serious responsibility of anybody employed in any environment.
Title IX and VAWA training is crucial because it helps ensure schools and campuses stay proactive about safety and accountability. It’s not just about knowing the law but also about understanding how to respond properly and support those affected. I plan to apply what I’ve learned by staying aware of reporting procedures, recognizing potential warning signs, and making sure any response follows clear and consistent protocols. This kind of training really emphasizes that everyone plays a role in maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
I've learn that Title IX is a tool for promoting equity and safety in schools, but its effectiveness is currently hindered by legal, political, and administrative challenges. For it to be truly effective, consistent enforcement, clear guidance, and adequate resources are essential.
I learned how Title IX and vawa ensure proper reporting, investigation and response to sexual misconduct to create a safer and more supportive campus
By developing a deeper understanding of Title IX and VAWA, by learning how to report, I can help create a safer, non-discriminatory environment for students and staff.
All sorts of harassment MUST be reported and should not be tolerated
I learned that schools are mandated to assist victims of sexual abuse and harassment by following standard reporting procedures and through the provision of appropriate support to students This protocol therefore serves to ensure a safe, caring and enabling environment for learning and teaching, both inside and outside of the classroom.
Reporting and protecting is everyone's job, and no one should feel targeted for reporting this problem.
This module taught me how crucial it is to report incidents promptly and accurately, and to follow clear response protocols. I now understand that proper reporting promotes accountability and helps safeguard everyone by addressing issues early. Going forward, I plan to stay alert, keep thorough records, and respond in line with the outlined procedures. This approach will support responsible action and help create a safer, more supportive community.
I have learned that a Title IX coordinator is an integral part of the school systematic approach to ensuring non discrimination.
