I gained a deeper understanding of how proactive education and awareness programs help create safer campuses.

I now have a clearer understanding of how schools are required to handle allegations of sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.

I gained a much stronger understanding of how institutions are required to respond to reports of sexual misconduct, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking.

After completing the Title IX and VAWA training, I have a much clearer understanding of how these laws work together to create safer campus environments.

My role in supporting students with disabilities involves understanding the legal obligations schools have and actively contributing to an inclusive learning environment.

The accommodation process is how students with disabilities get the support they need to access education equally. 

Students with disabilities may need support like assistive technology, extended time on assignments or tests, alternative formats for materials, or physical accommodations. 

Schools are legally required to support students with disabilities.

 I've learned that FERPA provides a framework for protecting student privacy but also presents various challenges and considerations for educational institutions.

I’ve learned that FERPA is designed to protect the privacy of students’ educational records. It establishes certain rights for students and sets specific guidelines for how schools and institutions must handle and disclose student information.
