I learned that we must be inclusive and be color-blind in our class. Accommodating diversity helps an instructor see each student in their own uniqueness. Appreciating the uniqueness of each individual student will  encourage participation and may lead to a good learning outcome

My takeaway is that it is important to give my student many avenues to think from and let them use their judgment to come up with the solution. It is also important to make them understand the value of paying attention to details, checking the timing and flow of information that they are receiving, taking time to articulate their point in clear, concise points.

I have learning introducing home learning and reading, which most students do not do these days. I have also been exposed to strategies in the in-class activities like discussion, instructor facilitating, and exercises, and using summative assessments like testing, projects, and homework to evaluate students' conceptualization of learned knowledge gained.

I learned that the Title IX coordinator oversees and evaluates the entire Title IX response system, receives reports, coordinates investigations, ensures compliance with the federal regulation, and implements remedies. However, the final disciplinary decision is often made by an independent investigator or the hearing panel.

I learned the need to prompt reporting and follow up, the role of the responsible person, and the need for all concerned to be adequately trained on the topic. Additionally, I learned that it is important to maintain confidentiality and who can actually take a report from victims.
