what I have learned form this module that e-learning is a very rewarding and effective method of distant learning if the teacher lderan hhis or her role in delivery the teacher/learning strategies, then the students can be succesful within the educational system. the e- learning system allows students to work at their own pace, and it allows for students to have their own private tutor with a never closed technical support!
From this section I learned that it is important to have content knowledge and be able to structure teaching techniques to learning opportunities that fit into the course management system you utilize. The course management system acts as the center of information for teachers and students to facilitate online learning. Teachers have many variables to consider and plan for in how they set up their curriculum for students to access learning virtually.
I have gained information to enhance my skills as an online instructor to include course delivery, projecting my presence, engaging my students and managing the E-Learning environment. I plan to present quality online engaging information and meaningful learning activities for the best outcome. My students will be more secure and comfortable knowing that I will support them with online instruction and technical support.
I learned that body language has the highest percentage in communication. But the tone of voice in a call is very important. Apply it in my work would be on the phone and try not to look like a premade script.
It is critical that i become familiar with the content. I need to make sure to refreash myself on topics where my knowledge is lasking. I discovered how important it is to have a solid orientation that will aid student in the management of their course materials.

Like any online course, I want to know how to manage the system. I've learned that the techer has full control of the learning enviroment and that proper software will guide you through successful steps for student interaction and learning. The teacher must know how the system works before engaging stidents.
The course structure and online layout are very important to eastblish prior to launching the curriculum for online learners, but also must ensure full CMS and technical support are locked-on and posted prior to launch.

Comprehending the Course Delivery Format is crucial to oline learning. As an instructor I must be familiar with the course delivery tecniques and strategies of the CMS. I should know the important functions the platform offers and should be able to perform them in order to avoid attrition and frustration. Also knowing the content delivery and information will help me be a better effective online instructor.
I have learned that Online courses are characterized by:

It's more to it in conducting an online course. You have to know all aspects from teacher to student and be able to learn as you go as well. It's important that you know a lot of the information in conducting your class and prepare your class just as if you would traditionally

Even though I have taught online for three years, I was delighted to revisit important themes such as understanding the CMS in order to best organize my course for effective and efficient delivery while also being engaging in the best interactive process.

Teaching online is complex, just as teaching in a classroom. An online course is not just doing assignments and taking exams. It has to be well-structured. It is sad that managment that wants an online course in a business environment does not grasp the complexity.
