One thing that stood out to me was "Don't try to be smarter than your students because one of your students could be smarter." Just because your instructor doesn't allow to know it all. And also lead by example.
Don't lie and don't try to be anything or prove to the students you're competent.
so many good points that i think might used but great ideas for different formats

It was so refreshing to see a professor speak on the value on just being you as an educator and not having to be the smartest in the room. You don't have to be the smartest, it's your job to be the one who imparts knowledge! I was also very inspired to see a video of an educator who was excited to be in the room and excited about their topic!
This module has allowed me to understand better the three roles an instructor plays in the educational process of the students. Learning the components of modeling will allow me to further enable students to succeed. Understanding how to better manage your classroom and the functions created as a result of the students will facilitate the students learning.
Students don't want to be looked down upon or made to feel inadequate or insignificant.
Leading by example (the way that I speak, dress, timeliness)
Not trying to prove how smart I am to my students.
Model, manage, and motivate.
I learned the importance of having a professional development plan. I think having a plan will keep me focus on achieving a higher level of teaching effectively.
Leadership and leading by example were big in the military and it followed me here to the teaching world.
Be prepared, ready, and excited to receive and teach the students. Being professional in all areas of communication with the students and with my colleagues.
This module demonstrated that technical knowledge is just the foundation of classroom instruction. Students must feel that the instructor is committed to student success by showing professionalism, fairness, and compassion. Additionally, instructors must be able to manage student expectations by outlining clear and relevant learning outcomes and goals.
Purposeful prior planning prevents poor performance
It's important to be passionate about the content of what is being taught... it breeds excitement for the course of study which ultimately benefits the student. Leading by example by being on time, neatly dressed, are also elements of teaching that have an impact that is too often forgotten.
Leadership, respect and connect with students in a level they can understand and feel encouraged, understood and cared for. Leading by example and connect with other instructors to integrate ideas.
Incorporating the essential requirements of being a good role model, a good manager of my class, and being a motivator to my students is what I have taken away from this module.
Never assume you are the smartest in the room.
The students come first. We need to learn how to be flexible and work with them according to their learning style.
As an instructor, we are constantly growing and improving ourselves and learning techniques.
I learned about Model, Manager, and Motivator.
The competencies in 3 major areas: Technical, professionalism, and personal.
Lastly, instructional styles.
