In this section I learned to have my lectures prepared beforehand, choose a style of lecture that will work for my students, utilize multiple styles of teaching to meet different learning styles, and incorporate mini-lectures which are 10 to 15 minutes.

I learned that it is important to set the tone and expectations for the course so the students are clear about what is expected and how they will be graded.

I have learned that instructors should always be prepared before class, work to create a welcoming environment for students, and always keep a note pad.

I have learned to model the behavior you expect from your students.
