Stress in Workfield

Dealing with stress in our workfield is like eating breakfast. It is the most important course because it nourishes our body throughout the day. Although stress is inevitable, we have to solve it as early as possible in order for us to move forward with our life. We have to take it as a challenge rather than a burden. And we have to remember that sometimes stress is good because it keeps us focused on our goal. But then again, too much stress it bad because it is the source of concominant ailments.

Lead by example

Whether having a manager position or an employee of a manager, you must lead by example.

You cannot expect your employees to work their hardest, if you as their boss are not working your hardest.

You also can't expect them to really listen and do the things you ask if you are not following those guidlines yourself.

It's ultimately about leading by example, if you want great employees who love coming into work and giving 100% percent, them give them a reason to want that, and show that you feel the same way about your job. If you love your… >>>

Workplace Challenges

All individuals are different, the same as all employees are different. Each employee learns and grows differently, but positive reinforcement and costructive criticism are always positive ways of helping an employee grow in their job.

Giving them training that you know is imperative to their position, and following up to see if training was learned and applied through them.

Human Behavior

A key element in in dealing with people in general is to have respect. By showing respect, a relationship will develop in a positivity manner. This is true when working with you boss. Giving Credit

Thanks for this tutorial!  I am a career development instructor, and this course will help the students better assess their soft skills in order to become better employees.

TIME MANAGEMENT

GREAT,PLAN,TAKE NOTES, DISCUSS, STAY ON TASK, KEEP UP WITH TIME.

Leadership

Leadership is not something you are born with, it is an act to develope. Leadership requires you to be open minded, honest, loyal and respectful. Give credit to those who has initiated the leader in you. Do not allow yourself to be the leader that no one will follow. Any person who has no one following them is just taking a walk by themselves.

Do as I do

When working with others, it is always in the best interest of employees and the company to demonstrate the behaviors expected in and of others.  Maintaining a strong ethical base can serve as a foundation for all aspects of a personal as well as professional life.  Adhering and promoting company policies should be a matter of course if one has well established ethics.  The positive benefits of modeling exemplar behavior practices will likely result in employees that follow suit and employees that have respect for their management.

Setting Personal Goals

After completing the tutorial, I have realized that though I set goals for myself to improve my performance, I should set more specific goals. Instead of "I need to get grading done faster," my goal should be more specific, for instance, "I need to complete all grading within 4 days of the due date." Another example might be instead of reminding myself that I need to give more positive feedback to my students, I should instead make a daily goal of giving positive feedback to at least 5 of my students each day.
