building positive relationships making learning relevant to their lives offering choice and building a strong mindset in their field

Keeping them motivated by staying enthusiastic myself

Being able to apply what they've learned in new settings is very important to adult learners. It is good practice to have students perform projects on topics you have recently taught them about. If you explain how to build something during a lecture the students will want to build that same thing themselves immediately.

I prefer to keep my students motivated by showing them how the class material relates to their personal goals and expectations.

I always try and deliver the material in a enthusiastic way

Your students will be more enlighten if they are allowed to practice what they learn as soon as they learn it.

Keeping myself focused and engaged will be the prerequisite for my students to remain motivated. Learning students' goals and building rapport will keep me authentic to what they need to stay motivated.

By sharing my expertise and enthusiasm in a clear and concise manner is the key. Being empathetic goes a long way too.

I have learned that being well-prepared, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic are essential qualities for motivating students to learn. To support this, I will ensure that I will thoroughly study and thoughtfully structure each lesson in a clear and understandable manner before every class session. Additionally, I will regularly remind myself that my primary goal is to see my students succeed. keeping this purpose in mind will help sustain my motivation and commitment as an educator.

You can refer to the students motivation source when a student starts to lose focus and needs to be challenged.

Student motivation often depends on the instructor. If the instructor is consistently knowledgeable, enthusiastic, communicative, and motivational it helps keep and retain student attention and enthusiasm as well.

Student motivation begins with the instructor. The instructor must be open, communicative, and willing to motivate throughout the semester, among other qualities. When the instructor does come with these qualities, it changes the environment to a positive and open environment.

I learned about components of motivation for students and hope to be able to apply characteristics of being a motivating instructor.

I have learned that connecting with students, setting expectations and allowing students to own their content is a good motivating factor knowing what motivates each individual allows the instructor to tailor the course content to better facilitate each individual learner.

I learned that understanding student motivation, reinforcing learning, and supporting retention and transference are essential for student success. Students stay engaged when lessons connect to their experiences, provide immediate feedback, and allow repeated practice. I will apply this by tailoring activities to their motivations, giving timely and positive feedback, linking lessons to real-world applications, and providing repeated opportunities to practice skills. This approach will help students remain motivated, confident, and prepared for their careers

Using empathy is a highly effective method for connecting with students.  Letting the students understand that you can relate to their experiences makes you more relatable, and helps them build connections for remembering the subject matter.

I have learned that demonstrating my expertise if done properly will give my students a sense of a goal that they can learn this.

Motivating students comes from demonstrating expertise, empathy, enthusiasm, and clarity in the classroom. When students see that the instructor understands the material and can clearly explain how it applies in the real world, they become more engaged and confident in what they are learning.

I can motive them by telling them good job on something they did or maybe showing them a good role model. Let them know about when they get out there on the field how it might be. Try and get them excited about it
