As instructors, have the passion and excitement when conveying information. Truly care about the students. Start the day with a motivational video or icebreaker. Create a psychologically safe learning environment.
Understand student's intrinsic needs and view the environment (extrinsic needs) through the eyes of the student.
Ask students which order to provide instruction. For example, do they want the quiz first, then activities or lecture? Ask the students about the pace of instruction. Create a psychologically safe environment for students to speak up.
