Ive realized I will be a great instructor for this students.

It did my heart good when I read that the adult learner's attention span was, I believe 14-18 minutes. This far exceeds the attention span of new college-age students. :-)

I also appreciate the mini lecture concept with time for active learning and the different ways to handle student questions in class.

It was interesting to hear that the block of time for our ability to learn or pay attention to a lecture is 15-18 mins. I will be implementing this time frame into my lectures and then switch gears to a more interactive format.

I will use an interactive lecture format to keep students engaged.

Use different methods of lecturing and delivering the info. Work on variety of technics to make sure it is understandable for a different style of learner.. will try videotape myself, see, if there any distractive mannerisms...

To provide mini lectures so don't overwhelm our students with too much information at once.

It is important to use a variety of teaching methods to keep the students engaged and to enhance learning. The 20-20-10 plan allows for 20 minutes interactive lecture, 20 minutes of collaborative learning, and 10 minutes of review using a Kahoot game or Q & A.

Everyone is different and it should be respected

Case studies are presented to the students for their consideration and input.

Use different teaching styles to assure the students learn the material

Stay away from the same delivery styles.  Mix up different delivery styles.  Keep students focused and engaged.

When deciding on the delivery method for the course content, the instructor should consider the content and whether the students are novice, immediate, or advanced learners. Using a variety of delivery methods increases learner engagement.

I haven't given much thought to how or whether I could incorporate problem-solving or case studies into my lectures. I'm excited to think more about that!

Varying teaching styles during the course is key to maximizing student engagement.

Mini lectures are helpful because most adults attention span is 15-18 minutes.

Using different teaching styles to reach each student is important with learning

It is very important when developing your lesson plans to  incorporate different learning styles,  lecture for no longer than 15 minutes at a time,  and try to keep the students engaged as much as possible.

Everyone learns differently. It is important to incorporate various teaching styles to keep students interested and engaged.

I have learned the important of implementing different teaching styles to cater to various methods of learning.

It is important to vary teaching styles for maximum student comprehension. It is also important to limit time for concepts to 15-18 min for successful student retention.
