I am learning effective ways to engage multiple students at one time by varying the method of information delivery.

Learning how to set the tone on day one was helpful for me. I am learning how important the start of the semester will be, and some tips for establishing expectations from students.

Good prep can foster better rapport with students. Understanding the role of prep work is very important for student engagement.

Learning the ways to encourage engagement with students has been so helpful.

I noticed that some of the ways to improve connections and with students with PTSD and or TBI could also be helpful with working with some students on the autism spectrum. This was all very helpful information for me and I know I can use it to help my students.

Understanding the role of an IEP in career education is very important. I can see how it can be helpful to use an IEP as more information to understand what students have had and needed in the past can. Knowing what is available to help students with PTSD is reassuring to me.

TBI and PTSD can be difficult to spot and understanding how it manifests for learners is important. I find it very helpful to see how they could be identified and who is at higher risk.

My favorite part of this was reading what everyone else had posted. It is so reassuring to see that the understanding of PTSD has greatly increased. Managing this in the educational setting is important and I am excited to find tools to use in my own practice.

It is helpful to understand the different kinds of students so that effective strategies can be used to manage the online classroom setting.
