Transparency is a must

I learned that advertising must be accurate, truthful, and be able to be proved. It is not permissible to use exaggerated words or terminology, or make promises that cannot be implemented.

to be compliant with all the state's regulations and institution's policies so we offer applicants current and proven information about every aspect of the admission and enrollment process.

I've learned the importance of accurate and truthful advertising.

Hello, I learned more about advertising and marketing strategies, and advertising rules and regulations. Also, about the Grievance and Complaint Policies procedures that the Florida Commission for Independent Education has set for the institutions to follow. I intend to apply what I learned in this section when communicating with students.

I've learned the importance of being familiar with the specific costs and fees associated with a program.

The importance of truthful and accurate advertising.

This lesson outlines specific regulatory requirements in Florida. Catalog and enrollment requirements, tuition, cancellation, and refund policies as well as transfer credits and more detailed disclosures.

complying with the rules and regulations is a matter of transparency.

I learned how to talk to a person who is searching for prices and other types of information regarding school.

Schools should openly provide required disclosures and clearly present facts related to school data.

Referring the person to check prices, etc. on the web site, would give them generalized information without delving into specifics without the opportunity of speaking face to face and taking the school tour and explain the program in depth.

Giving an off the cuff response to that question can cause the loss of a student.  Give a generalized answer as best as you can and tell them you would be more than happy the give them a complete breakdown when they come for more information.
