Is very informative, nice to be able to have a resource notebook to follow as well as continuing education to keep us updated

I've learned that it's first step to complete Admissions Staff training course before i can work as an Admission director. Must know the Marketing and Admissions process's words and Terms.

Great information for someone like me; in admissions for my first time.

I have 4 or so years of college admissions experience, but it was 10 years ago, so this was a good refresher of the foundation of admissions.

The training was informative however the information I found most useful discussed the one on one conversation with potential students. I'm not an expert in admissions but the people around you have all the information that you need. In order to maximize opportunity you must utilize the career center when asked questions about pay and employment. Let the student know that we have an entire process for employment opportunities. Also any questions in regards to any programs, keep it simple only an overview of the requirements and durations of the program. Any other information that's needed will be provided by the experts who are hands on when it comes to the specific course load.

I learned that there are always updates and changes to the admissions guidelines and policies. Keeping a notebook is a great way to record all information so that you are always up to date with changes

This module was  very important for me to learn about rules , terms and jobs definitions .

Give you an advice about how we can keep the information organized and updated using a well divided and labeled resource notebook

I have learned to keep an up-to-date binder with the terminology and regulations so it can be referenced when needed. Knowing the regulations as a customer service representative is valuable so that I am fully prepared to help others.

Hi,

Every year is so refreshing to reiterate the procedures in this training daily.  Every year this training makes me say ok I do that. Great information.

Comment on Alexandre Drozdov's post: I agree with you Alexandre. Everyone should know what the policies and procedures are to maintin a healthy and professional culture in the work place.

Learning the policies and procedures is very helpful.

I have learned the correct and up-to-date terminology to be used in the admission process. This knowledge will enable me to communicate effectively and accurately with prospective students, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.

It has been so helpful knowing the policies and procedures and I am looking forward to learning more.

I think this a great overview of each institutions rules/guidelines and terminology and something that should be revisited from time to time since things are always changing.

I have learned so much from this course already. The main highlight for me is to set a notebook with all information needed to perform admissions tacks so easily!

This will come in handy for us to train our new admissions staff.  Great guidelines here!

I have learned about the importance of retaining important documentation like our organizational chart and enrollment agreements for each program.

Hello, I have learned that a lot of different aspects go into being an effective administrator. You should strive to become not only knowledgeable about your institution but an expert. Knowing key terms is also essential in providing prospective students accurate information and making sure they are a right fit for your institution.
