"A recipient institution that receives Department funds must operate its education program or activity in a nondiscriminatory manner free of discrimination based on sex, including sexual orientation and gender identity. Some key issue areas in which recipients have Title IX obligations are: recruitment, admissions, and counseling; financial assistance; athletics; sex-based harassment, which encompasses sexual assault and other forms of sexual violence; treatment of pregnant and parenting students; treatment of LGBTQI+ students; discipline; single-sex education; and employment. Also, no recipient or other person may intimidate, threaten, coerce, or discriminate against any individual for the purpose of interfering with any right or privilege secured by Title IX or its implementing regulations, or because the individual has made a report or complaint, testified, assisted, or participated or refused to participate in a proceeding under Title IX. For a recipient to retaliate in any way is considered a violation of Title IX. The Department’s Title IX regulations (Volume 34, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 106) provide additional information about the forms of discrimination prohibited by Title IX." according to the department of education
I learned the necessary steps that need to be taken when reporting an incident that has occurred as well as the importance of immediate action.

The school has a responsibility to identify the Responsible Employees. Social media post that include information about assaults have to be reported to the Title IX coordinator or responsible employee.

It is good to know the Role of the Responsible Employee and what to be cautious about. Victims of any types of assault, need to feel supported about the importance of reporting. I feel that not reporting the crime will result in the perpetrator going unpunished, and will continue to pray on other victims.
I believe i had good information ,that we have to report immediately of any harassment happened in the institute to the IX coordinator and find quick respond to control the situation and make many steps to make sure that it will not rehappen againe by finding the week spots that led to that to occur .
many bad thing can and do happen on campuses. any type of sexual harassment, sexual crimes should all be reported and encouraged to report it. no retribution should be given for reporting such conduct either. The presence of and training title IV coordinators should be of most importance to help our staff and students.

Title IX plays an important role in protecting the students and bringing awareness to sexual crimes that may occur . It is important for all students and employees to be aware of the proper person to reach out to and even understand that any reporting can be done confidentially if need be.
