Planning is obviously what every teacher is supposed to do. The better the plan the better the behaviors become in class. I have been trying the flipped classroom approach being CTE and having the 21st century skills incorporated and it has been nice.
Students need structure. Students will subconsciously sense when a plan or structure is weak or failing. Planning ahead will help the teacher and the student learn and teach as expected. Having a structured learning and teaching process, like "I do, we do, you do," is much like the fabrication process I developed in the industry. Taking an approach that is tested and trusted will confirm the teacher's place and confidence at the front of the class.
I like the Georgia method to lesson plans; "I do", We do", "You Do". It is a simple way to structure lesson plans.

I loved the idea of using the flipped classroom concept; this concept shows students that learning can be fun and engaging and is not "boring." I also appreciated the templates for lesson planning. These plans make it easy to complete lesson planning promptly. The map and scope clearly show what you and your students can expect for the semester.

Sometimes I wonder about a flipped classroom. I remember a couple of years ago our county school system changed to that. All the teachers had to be trained on how to incorporate that. I know it was before COVID. But I wonder how it's surviving after COVID.
As competency based education is becoming the new "buzzword" in Education. CTE teachers have a nice fit within this new world.
