I am getting closer to teaching my students how to properly use ChatGPT. I feel that it is a tool that will not disappear so it is time to integrate it into learning. However, I am also very concerned that students will use AI to to the foundational thinking about topics and never learn to organize material themselves. What would happen if a student never organized a basic essay themselves?

I have been involved with AI for a long time. When ChatGPT emerged, I immediately saw it as a fantastic tool for education. I use it in my classes and encourage students to use it. I only ask that they cite it, as they would with any resource. Education is an area in which AI will have the greatest impact.

I have played with OpenAI and it can be a great tool in teaching.

I am new to this technology, which is why I chose this module.  I believe it can be useful if not used as a tool for students to take short cuts in their learning.  I will continue to learn as I move through this module, to incorporate this typo of learning in my current teaching environment.

I have done some study on this subject of AI and have tried using Chat AI. I didn’t feel if it was genuine, and I decided not to use it. I learned from this that there is a growing concern amongst educators about the usage of Chat AI.

I learned that AI will continue to evolve and become available for the public to utilize and find information at exponential speed. Many of the internet browsing services will offer AI interfaces and, thus, creating a competitive market for the use of AI.

I learned that there is still more to discover about AI.

I have learned how I can guide my students and myself in using ChatGPT.

I have learned that AI is truly still a tool that can be both in positive and negative ways based on the user and our tendency to find the most convenient ways to do things that negatively affect our capacity for basic concepts in life and learning.

ChatGPT, is a free online tool to help enhance language and teaching tactics.

I learned about the Open AI founders and their intention to share information to the public.

AI offers endless opportunities to enhance performance in several sectors of a country's economy. Since the field is relatively new, we are cautious about how best to use it to enhance teaching and learning.

I understood AI fundamentals like machine learning, neural networks, and natural language processing.
I could use AI for writing assistance or creative content generation

I've learned that OpenAI founders are more concerned about the dangers and risks of AI, which is why they share codes and policies publicly. That's a responsible attitude.

I have seen the drawbacks of AI when students use it to create papers, discussion posts, etc. So far, this course has highlighted some of the benefits of AI that I had not previously considered.

Seeing the benefits and keeping an open mind. Moving forward, I will review the research to learn how I can incorporate AI into the online educational forum and to influence others to do the same.

I appreciated learning more about Open AI which is currently in the news. I learned some ways it can benefit students with varying needs, but am anxious to learn how to harness its power and not be a crutch which can be a huge detriment to a child's education.

I believe, we as educators, need to try and be at least one step ahead of the students when it comes to AI.  AI needs to be introduced to the students in a way of promoting correct and safe use..

ChatGPT can be a great tool for students and instructors alike. However, there are drawbacks, which will become significant for instructors, such as the strong potential for academic dishonesty.

I reviewed the brief history of AI bots, the four fields of AI, the benefits of AI, and Open AI and Chat GPT.
