I am very interested in using AI for interactive learning. I like the idea of interactivity as it leads students through the decision-making process and outcomes of their decisions.

I learned that AI has actually been around a lot longer than I realized.

I learned how artificial intelligence can be used in education and daily life. I understand better how to use AI tools like ChatGPT to support learning, save time, and get ideas. I plan to use this knowledge to improve my work and help others use AI in a good and safe way.

I've reviewed much of what I already knew about artificial intelligence. I feel that it is easy to be afraid of ai, but that it isn't going away, and we must embrace it and take advantage of its benefits or risk being left behind.

This module highlights the fascinating journey of chatbot development, starting with early tools like ELIZA and the conceptual foundation of the Turing Test. Conversational AI has come a long way, evolving into advanced platforms like ChatGPT that can understand and generate human-like responses using machine learning and natural language processing.
The content also emphasizes OpenAI's role in shaping the development of responsible and transparent AI. Understanding their goals and research efforts helps shed light on the potential and the precautions needed when using tools like ChatGPT in education.
These insights can be helpful when considering how AI might enhance learning environments. ChatGPT has many possibilities, whether it is assisting with personalized feedback, offering on-demand explanations, or helping educators manage time more effectively. At the same time, thoughtful integration ensures it supports rather than replaces meaningful learning experiences.

AI is a good tool for students providing there is direction and an understanding of the subject matter they are researching

We are just at the beginning of AI's impact on wider society. At present, there are many useful streamlining features that we can use.

Using generative AI tools comes with great responsibility. We must be aware of potential risks when integrating AI into our lives. Ethical use protects us and those affected by AI-generated content.

AI is an incredible new up and coming tool. It is important to understand it’s capabilities to determine how it may impact the classroom, cheating etc.

Material reinforced my understanding of AI and its applications.

I have learned about the evolution of artificial intelligence and its emergence into contemporary fields like manufacturing and education. I will apply my AI knowledge in conversations with students and to help them apply best practices and ethical usage.

I've learned that it's actually been around a lot longer than I realized.  I think it could be beneficial when used correctly in the learning process, but could also be a hindrance if used inappropriately.

I learned about the history and development of chatbots that led to the new AI tools we are beginning to see and use today. Much in the way people had to be taught how to use the internet ethically and as a tool, we will go through the same growing pains with AI.

I had no idea a chatbot was first created in 1966

Background of ChatGPT
ChatGPT is a language model developed by OpenAI, based on the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) architecture. Its goal is to generate coherent and relevant text in response to user inputs, simulating natural conversation. It has been trained on large volumes of data to understand and generate text in multiple languages and contexts, making it useful in applications such as education, customer service, writing, and more.

What Have I Learned in This Module and How Do I Plan to Apply It?
In this module, I have learned about the key differences between leadership and management, as well as the importance of both roles in the success of an organization. I have also explored how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming various sectors, including education, and the challenges and opportunities it presents.

Practical Applications:
Leadership and management:

I will apply leadership principles to inspire and motivate teams, fostering innovation and collaboration.
I will use management skills to organize tasks, optimize processes, and ensure goals are achieved efficiently.
Artificial intelligence:

I will explore how to integrate AI tools, such as ChatGPT, into education to personalize learning and enhance the student experience.
I will be mindful of the ethical and privacy challenges associated with AI and work to implement it responsibly.
Innovation and adaptability:

I will adopt an open mindset toward change, constantly seeking ways to improve and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
I will encourage creativity and critical thinking in my work and personal environment.

Final Reflection
This module has given me a clearer vision of how to balance inspiring leadership with effective management and how to leverage AI to drive progress. I am excited to apply these insights in my daily work and continue learning from my peers to grow both personally and professionally.

I have learned that as time goes on students will use AI to do most of there homework and classwork

I have learnt that ChatGPT could be useful in the classroom if used correctly.

There are many benefits to using AI. I was unaware that there was a difference between open AI and others.

I frequently use ChatGPT to create images and enjoy it. I have used DALLE to make images for my courses. Sometimes it doesnt quite get it right though. I have learned that there are several types of AI bots and that this technology has actually been around since the 1950's.

if we keep in mind that students are going to use AI, and we direct them in the right way to do it, making them see the benefits but also the risks, we will create future professionals who can be critical in the use, management, and analysis of information.
