Assisted technology offers significant benefits for teaching by making learning more accessible, engaging, and personalized. Tools such as screen readers, speech-to-text software, adaptive keyboards, and interactive whiteboards help students with disabilities fully participate in class activities and access course materials without barriers. These technologies also allow teachers to present lessons in multiple formats—visual, auditory, and tactile—catering to different learning styles and needs. Additionally, assisted technology can automate routine tasks and provide instant feedback, giving teachers more time to focus on instruction and individualized support. By integrating these tools, educators create inclusive classrooms where all learners can thrive and achieve their potential.

In this module, I learned about video and recording software types, such as Camtasia, Loom, and Synthesia. I also learned about simulation software, such as NurseSim, Circuit Lab, and Cisco Packet Tracer. A Learning Management System (LMS) could help me easily organize and share theory and hands-on content. For example, with a cloud-based LMS, my students could access cooking tutorials, recipes, and course materials anytime, anywhere, making learning more flexible. Features like assignment submission portals would let them upload things like recipes or meal plans online, and the grading tools would help me give quick, helpful feedback.
I bookmarked the video about making my ppts more accessible. I hadn't considered those things before, and I'm so grateful to have this resource!
