I use reflection a lot in my classes to encourage the students to think about what they have experienced in a lab and ask questions based on that experience.

I really liked the links and the interactive features they have. I am going to hunt down some agriculture related websites to add as a resource for my students!

This semester, one of my in-person classes has been changed to a hybrid class where all the "lecture" content is expected to be done online and students only meet in person for the hands-on lab experiences. It has been a challenging change, but worthwhile.

There are some concerns to online learning forums to some institutions. But there is also a growing trend for online learning. There are several barriers to implementing a successful online environment.

The perks of asynchronous learning to many students include flexibility of time and space, easily accessible content in complete form, and more student autonomy in completing assignments.

Throughout this module I learned that online content must be consistent throughout the course. Maintaining clear, organized and consistent content in the online learning process for students is important to their success. 

 
 
 

Feedback on students' work is very important for online courses. Immediate feedback is important for students.

There are advantages and disadvantages to online courses. Most disadvantages can be overcome in creating an online course.

A well thought and crafted Canvas course will increase intellectual learning and discover for a student.

It is important to share clear guidelines for participation in the class, as well as course expectations and procedures.
