Having a positive attitude regarding the use of technology will help your students to also look at technology in a positive light.

Instructors should know the 4 learning types in order to best address the information within their class and how their students get that information.  It's not fair to always present the information for auditory learners and none for the rest of their adult learners.

I had no idea that I could use the "check accessibility" for my power point slides to make sure they are correct for use in my classroom.

Technology is the way of the future in most educational platforms. Artificial intelligence is soon to be on every learning platform and will make life easier for educators and give students a better classroom experience.

With my type A personality, I do have a hard time in eliminating and reducing my stressors.  I plan to use the techniques that were outlined in this module in order to eliminate/reduce my stressors, as well as the use of meditation in the future.

I have not worked in academia in the last 3.5 years, and it does stress me a bit.  I plan to have all my ducks in order by reviewing my Canvas shells with my preceptor before class starts.  I am working on simplifying my personal life by having my lunch ready the night before and getting the dogs' kennels arranged with their food and water, as well as their toys the night before I go to work.

I am one of those people who want to move though tasks very quickly.  I do get caught out the in weeds so to speak due to answering my emails each and every time one comes in and also with grading.  I have a type A personality and tend to want to do things all at once.

I fall into that 95% of occasional procrastination and mostly with my private life.  I have always made "to do" lists but never thought about giving them numbers regarding their importance.  I will have to try this in order to increase my time management skills.

When I teach a class, I need to be organized and prepared.  I also need to not talk about my personal life, but to also be personable by greeting my students at the first of the class and to remember their names when I call on them during class.

I have learned that I need to have effective class management, especially with disruptive students. I also need to remain calm in times of stress with these students and to give them a chance to talk.
