Informative

I learned a lot from this couse about regulations.  I hope to use this in the future.

It will be important to find ways (routine refresher courses) to keep these issues in the forefront during day to day operations of our campus.

New to Admissions and Education

I am new to the Admissions and Education field. I found this course to be very stimulating and eye-opening. I am not sure that I was trained on CAN-SPAM nor Do Not Call lists in prior jobs where I was a customer service representative and also worked in the staffing industry, providing emails to customers for advertisement and making phone calls! I am glad to know this information and will be able to utilize it in my daily job as an Admissions Representative!

Great Information

My previous career had nothing to do with teaching so much of this is very new to me.  These courses are extremely informative.  I am a lot more comfortable on campus doing what I do now.  I can't wait to take more courses!!!

CM305 is very beneficial for all admissions representatives for any college!

Hello Everyone,

I have just completed the CM305 class that is part of the OACCS agent permit training and I found it to be very beneficial in helping me be a proficient college admissions representative. Ethics, compliance, financial services, state laws, Title IV regulations, campus safety and other components are all adequately covered to ensure all representatives taking the training leave the training enlightened with pertinent information to their careers in helping potential students make the best choice on education for themselves.

Some of the areas that I was weak in were financial services direct related questions dealing with… >>>

Insightful

After completing the Max Knowledge course, I learned how various administrative tasks could benefit me as an instructor as well. Many federal and state laws I was already familiar with. However, I found the teacher tools helpful as well as "incentive" guidelines. It's certainly always good to brush up on federal and state guidelines.

What I learned most importantly is that I should become more familiar with the schools methods of disclosures and what students are being told. Regardless of what they are being told, I am an instructor and I'm not exactly sure when it would be appropriate to… >>>

"Doing The Right Thing"

After completion of the Max Knowledge program, "Doing The Right Thing", I must say that I was extremely impressed with the material.  I took a lot of great information from it.  Some was a refresher but other information I was not aware of.  Knowing this information will allow me to better service the students, the school, and the industry as a whole.

Thank you!

Max Knowledge

Max Knowledge was helpful.
The material was a little dry but it had an important role in training
and understanding the importance of compliance.
All in all it was a good thing to do.

good info

I thought the info was great and I feel like I learned a lot. It was easy to understand and the information came very natural to me; it was not confusing or too much to retain.

Confused

Course had alot of information, very confusing and not very helpful to me.

CM 102

Interesting that things can be so different at other schools and states.

Great Refresher

The content in this course is so extremely relevant. In Ohio we are very regulated and need to always keep in the forfront of our minds and our business practices what are considered best practices and complant actions.  Our University utilizes mystery shops to test our staff in these areas to ensure we are adhering to guidelines and these refreshers are very helpful to remind us how to conduct our daily business.

Education

This was a great tool to refresh me on info and to keep me up to date on info

Education on Education

What a great acclaimation to learning institutional regulations, as a multiple company owner regulated by different agencies this outlines a lot of great safety compliance laws, rules and standards to abide by. I feel more confident in my ventures as a result of completing this course.

Glad I took 305!

This course was a great refresher for me as well as learning new things. It was nice to even speak with other employees about what we all had learned.

I liked how there was a little bit of history in there as well.

I'm glad we did get to take this course and now know more about compliance. I feel that it will make us be more confident on the phones.

Great Course!

Many of our job duties correlate with many other departments on the campus. When working with other departments and individiuals it is important to understand the rules and policies that govern each department within our school. As employess we should be a wealth of knowledge for prospect and current students. It is the responsiblity of the school to correctly guide each student in helping them make an informed well thought out decesion in regards to their education, and I feel this course will aide in giving us that ability. Thank you so much!

Admissions - CM201

I found this course quite informative and will pass along to our Supervisor the need to have all Instructors review the course material as well. I, personally, learn better with straight forward questions and answers, so the wording in the quiz questions was slightly frustrating. I look forward to learning more through the numerous courses you have to offer. Many thanks to Patty Arnoff for responding to each and every one of our responses in the forums. Great course overall!

Resource

I have had no educational background before coming to YTI- so I love that we are able to print the modules- I have a quick reference packet now that I can refer to if I am ever in a sticky situation!

CM105

I learned so much about the different compliance's we must follow as an employee at YTI. I have been here for almost three years as an instructor and wish I would have completed this course earlier. I feel all new employees should complete this training...no matter what they will be doing at YTI. This course was very informative.

Great Information

Taking this course, I have expanded my knowledge in numerous areas. I had no idea about FERPA. And I learned a lot from that.. I learned that I cannot give out any information reguarding a student, no matter what. I also learned a various amount of different types of feedback, for whn atudents ask certain questions. I feel very knowledgable in many areas of my proffession.
