This was a much better format of learning the information as opposed to just reading a manual or listening to someone regurgitate the information. The quizzes kept me engaged and challenged to truly pay attention to the content.

I found the material in this course to be very engaging---I guess it helps when the subject-matter interests you! :) I definitely learned a lot of new things that will be of tremendous value throughout my interactions with prospective students.

The content was extremely informative and useful; though it was a lot of information in a short period of time to take in.  However; the quizzes and tutorials made the experience fun and easier to remember.

The content was great. I didn't know any of that information, and I look forward to applying it.

I have certainly learned a lot in this course in such a short period of time. I am certainy going to take everything that I learned in this course and apllied it in my future. I also like the discusiion threads where you can interact with the faciliitator and the peers that are also taking this same class as you.

This training was good to provide awareness and to be able to point a student in the correct direction, however I prefer to be involved in the conversations and trainings that pertain to the specifics of the courses I am instructing. Thank you.

I think without this course being so concise it would have been more difficult to understand the state requirements for compliance. What does everyone else think?

This training was very detailed and provided information I can use in my everyday job. It required critical thinking and an opportunity to really examine how I can do my best to help our students with respect to their academic achievement.

While this training was informative, I did find myself having to read over sections a few times to be sure I understood it correctly.  And I really wish this was a face to face course.  I have so many questions that would have led to great discussion.  The forums, unfortunelty, are a bit slow to keep a continuous conversation going.

I loved the info in the course...all mostly new to me.  I feel I can better inform my students of various things now.  I'm happy this was open to me :)

It was enlightening, all states should have this training for all educational instituitions. I have been in education admissions for 8 years and have heard(second hand how students are mislead.  If you use honesty, know your position and have your resources and believe in your school you will do what is best for the student and the communities.

Who the triad of regulators are: USDE, State Gov Agencies and Accreditors.

How school is Title IV eligible: approved by Goverment State Agencies, accredited by the USDE accreditor and to abide by terms of a participation agreement signed by the USDE.

Knowing about the do not call and how many days we have to call after an inquiry.

Arrangements with other schools on what information is needed to provide a portion of a program.

Licensure & Certifactions.

Learning the regulations that the schools live under was interesting and enlightning.

Compliance courses such as Maxknowledge offers are a great start to understanding the importance of compliance for all personnel in our industry.  I recommend that admissions personnel receive training and information on the specific compliance/regulatory entities that govern your institution.  There are specific regulations and accrediting standards/criteria from your accrediting body and state licensing agency that can be printed, distributed, discussed etc., with admissions and other personnel.

The compliance training has been very beneficial in helping me do my job the correct way.  It is very important to follow all compliance regulations because we have the student's best interest in mind.  As an institution, following regulations will improve the integrity and reputation! 

This has been quite an experience.  It is a valuable tool in making sure that the staff is fully aware of what they need to do in staying in compliance from the time a potential student walks in the door.  Without this knowledge, a student can be led down the wrong path and, also important, the school could lose their Title IV funding or be closed down.  Knowing all regs while you are interviewing the prospective student, or teaching the student, is very important to you and the education institution.

I love my job! It is a pleasure working with students on a daily basis to help them further their education and reach their goals. Seeing a student progress and overcome obstacles is very fufilling. One of the best aspects of working with students is seeing them graduate and move on to better their lives and move on to their career paths.

It is great to lend a helping hand and offer advice to students and team members.
