distractions

Definitely not something you can do while at work in admissions... must be done at home which is extra work....

AC Advice

I said this in my comments and I will say it again. If you are trying to complete these modules, completely log out of your phone for a few hours and sit in complete silence so you can focus on the reading and quiz questions. Sitting at the front desk my first time around was a total distraction. This time I isolated myself and knocked it out. So glad I passed. Tests make me nervous...lol

Second Training!

This was my secont time taking this course. It helps refresh my memory!

Good Start

Good trainer!

CM202

This was great...

Had a great time.

CM202

Was a long process full of necessary information in order to perform adaquately.

first graduates

as I walked in yesterday, I ran into one of my first 3 enrollments..  this gentlemen went from scrubbing kitchens overnight at a restaurant, to a ft position within his newly chosen filed.  the excitement was beyond words.  The ability to impact a person and the direction of the career and life is an incredible responsibility I take very serious.  I slept well last night!!

Confusion

I just want to say I absolutley love my job to see my students succeed is so rewarding, but as far this goes I am uterly confused i scored so well in all four quizes and when i complete the final I felt it was not about anything on the past four quizes. I am also frustrated because i felt i learned alot about compliance, but also the test was about admissions and Financial aid and i am education also i took this exact same course last time so am not sure why i am doing it twice.

The discussions within the forums were very helpful in hearing the methods of other school practices regarding all the content of training.

Compliance & Education

I really enjoyed the preface of learning iwhtin the module of compliance. It was really eye opening to see the amount of regulations as well as the Regulatory Traid that is invovled for all educational institutions. It is a critical component for all to understand how one can offer a misrepresentation to a perspective student. It is so easily done on a daily bais stha twe do not even realize it!! The course was very beneficial.

CM102

With rules and regulations changing everyday I feel it is important to have a centeral place to go and get updates.  It is important that we are giving the student the right infomation at all times.  If we don't know the right infomation then we know where to go and get it.

MaxKnowledge

I feel it is important to keep up to speed and to be reminded about doing the right thing.  When working in the industry for years, it becomes second nature, however, it is imperative to keep this information fresh so we can better serve and help our customer.

Resources for Education

I am pleased to be a part of the Itt-tech team. As an admissions representative, I am learning the many aspects of continuing your education. What experiences have you gained from your job that you did not gain in school?

Be the best

Strive to be the best at whatever you do. Rather you are a gardner or a pilot, you have a goal set to accomplish and people are depending on you. Performing your job to the best of your ability can help ensure your success!!

Nonprofit Educational Institutuion

When you are a non profit it does not mean that the student do no have to pay a tuition and they receive minimal attention and less education, actually your priorites become the student. As a non for profit instituion  can expalin to the student what is the difference between a non for profit and a for profit without negatively speaking of other schools?

My School versus Your School

Compliance says that you are not to talk about other schools, negatively or otherwise. But how does that play out in real life? A prospective student came in this morning and was looking at one of our programs. He started talking about the fact that he is looking at other schools for the same type of program. I told him, "That's fine, I encourage you to check out all your options. You need to be able to make the right decision for your specific situation." I then continued with my presentation and answering their questions. He had his father with… >>>

Students

We are the portal to help our students.  Most have no idea what they want. It is up to us to lead them in their way.

Bieng the "right port of entry" of your institution.

As Admissions representatives we are "the port of entry" of our institutions or at least one of them. It is crucial to have the knowledge in compliance and rules, the patience, the truthful and accurate information to provide the best service in our ability. It is our responsibility to be informed and help the student feel confident and comfortable at our institutions because he is well informed before starting a program.

Important of Building Relationships

In the position of an Admissions Representative, it is extremely important to build relationships with prospective students. This builds trust between you and the student, so they can be confident in the help that you're giving them and the path that you're helping them down.
