I have learned many definitions and their importance to my work. I've learned that these resources are crucial to me providing support to students. I've learned the value of keeping a resource notebook up to date for access to this information and a resource to help me over the course of my work.
From this module, I have learned the importance of empathetic communication, active listening, and understanding the diverse needs of prospective students during the admissions process.
I intend to apply this knowledge by ensuring that every interaction with prospective students is personalized and thoughtful. I will actively listen to their concerns, ask relevant questions to better understand their needs, and provide clear and accurate information to help them make informed decisions. By doing so, I aim to enhance the overall experience for applicants and contribute to the positive reputation of our institution.

Admissions Training is critical, regardless of how long or short someone has been in the field. Things are always changing within the organization as well as regulations which may be mandated by Accrediting bodies, or local, state or federal authorities. Having access to updated training info. and school info. (catalog, policies, etc.) is vital.
Good afternoon, This is my first opportunity to take an admissions course. I feel the reading was very interesting because I was able to learn how important giving students accurate information to enroll.
Ive just learned that the Admissions representative training is required in the state of Florida to ensure that individuals working in this capacity are knowledgeable about relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards. I have learned that it is important to keep a "Resource Notebook" this should include Enrollment Agreements, Marketing Plans for the month, the Organizational chart for the school's faculty & staff. Also to include the Placement Director who can help students know where they can acquire jobs.

I learn that the agents are played a very important role in the process of an institution. They are not only working to recruit students but also, they need to be knowledgeable about all aspects of the institution.
This was a good refresher of the definitions associated with the admissions process, as for the notebook, I feel maintaining it up-to-date it the most important so as to assure that the information we give in admissions/enrollment is accurate to the students.

This is also my first position as an Admission Coordinator this training has a lot of information about the rules and regulations to the position. As a Student academic advisor I learn some of the regulations but this training has giving me more concept into the admission process and what it intel.
This is my first time working in admissions and taking this module alongside my on-site training and been crucial in seeing how the policies and procedures work in real time. Learning why or why not we say or do something had been very informative for me and being able to distinguish the differences makes all the difference.
