It is important to follow all of the rules that are posted and to continually stay up to date, there are various websites, magazines and newsletters that help post current information to stay on top of the ever changing rules and regulations.

Focusing on the Admissions Training and Licensing, working with compliant students and learning how to implement certain terms and definitions. 

Obtaining up-to-date information of what the school is offering. The difference between Licensing and Accreditation, attending meetings. How the Transfer of Credits works with this institution as well as other institutions. Keeping a reference notebook checklist. 

Staying up-to-date on the school's policies, procedures, and rules by obtaining copies of each of these documents. The educational programs that the school offers. Student services such as orientation, academic assistance, placement and career services, learning resources, graduation and exit interviews. How the school's Advertising and Marketing works. 

How to properly fill out the Enrollment Agreement and also in advising each student the commitment that they are undertaking in their journey in learning all about Cosmetology, the fees to go through school, touching base on financial aid but not going into detail they will need to see the financial aid director with retrospect to this. The student folder with all pertinent information and how this should be filed. 

I have learned that it is important to keep a "Resource Notebook" this should include Enrollment Agreements, Marketing Plans for the month, the Organizational chart for the school's faculty & staff. Also to include the Placement Director who can help students know where they can acquire jobs.
