Online courses require work for you to seem personable and to help students navigate their way around the course. Try to consider how to keep things as clean and consistent as possible when creating your course website.

Providing consistency in modlule or lesson layout will provide a better learning experience for the student

Be sure to match online content with my teaching style and teaching need, as well as ensuring the content is easily accessible and comprehensive for students.

be consistant in the layout of your modules

Looking for creative ways to tranisition F2F material to a HYBRID learning envirment

This module taught me this, being consistent in your course layout will make it easier for students to find the materials they need.

Make sure the content and layout is formatted for the student for ease to be able to navigate the  course effectively. Be simple and straight forward in wording sections

It's important continuously modify the course content to fit the needs of the learners.  Remember the four o's to modify course content:  origin, organization, orchestration, and outcome assessment.

All teaching innovations need to be tested in order to validate academic outcomes and benefits. Assess and evaluate the course in order to provide justification and to demonstrate academic rigor for online instruction, gather objective data such as scores on exams

Online instructor must keep it interesting by using different strategies. Be it games, discussion, quizzes. Trying to make it as close to a f2f classroom as possible

This may seem obvious to everyone, however I was able to realize that teaching online does not simply mean taking what I do in a face to face classroom and placing it online. There is much more to creating an online learning environment. I learned that I must find ways to engage students with the material, with each other, and with the instructor as well as provide opportunities for reflection.

I like what I am learning about organization and consistency and am relfecting on this as I revise my high school courses for next year. I also now realize how 'cold' my online classroom is currently...with no welcome letter, photo, or instructor bio, etc. I can now see that by creating a more welcoming community of learning for my students, I can improve upon student engagement & learning.

I like to 4 O's it lays it out simple.it makes it easy to understand the process in order.

Consistancy and organization, are key to making students feel included and informed.

Consistency and fluency in course construction is paramount to success.

It is important to understand that linear progression through the course is not effective add or can be in face to face courses. Online courses must be organized in ways most effective to the medium.

Being organized is important. Also trying to just turn all of your f2f  curriculum into online is not a wise choice.

It is essential in an online classroom to engage students as early as possible by sending a welcome email and introducing yourself to the class.  The more engaged a student is the more successful they will be in the class.

There are a lot of things to consider when exploring an online environment.

I learned about feedback and evaluation of the course, and the role of the online administrator.
