Organize,then organize some more one sure way to support success for instructor and student is to do just that....organize.

Management and organization go hand-in-hand to partner as support for the students as well as the instructor. Because there is a variety of needs for the classroom regardless whether traditional or virtual more is better to provide the gradual release for success.

Although many years have pasted since these principles have come from forth they are still relevant today. Once expectations are set in place along with these effective principles, and ultimate support our students will be successful. I always tell my students "You start my class with an "A" if you put forth all your effort with my expectation for you, you'll keep that grade". Then I follow up with having them write a smart goal and action plan to create their steps to keep being successful.

As with any electronic median there must be not only requirements but guideline,standards, and usage of proper choices along with consequences to assists with student success. Because I'm from the generation that needs technology assistance I make sure I stay upto date and learn what tools with meet theneedsof my students and myself.

Communication is timeless nd needed now more then ever in our electronic driven world of texting. So many times the message gets lost due to unclear communication and within the online classroom one must remember they don't see our faces or non-verbal emotions.

When approaching an online classroom setting one must keep even more things in mind. From the time I set in the articulation meeting for a rising student, the Access team and I start to formulate his/her success we call it "beyond the IEP".Consideration has to ctart with the end in mind,a successful student within either envirnoment.

 Because we have multiple level classroom and various ability levels it often becomes important to collaborate with our peers to gain and ensure we provide fair implementation for content mastery.

Coming into an educational setting be it tradional or vitural standards and expectations must be set,modeling, and clearly stated not to get students in trouble but to streer clear of trouble. More then once failure to communicate has exploded into negative choices and conseuences. From day one clarity has to be in place for success online or in seat.
