Identifying the stressors and eliminating them one at a time.

Making a list of things you can and cannot control will help decide what stress you can deal with.  Many times we worry about things we have no control over.

Identify your stress and how to eliminate or reduce them before they start affecting your health and well-being.

health issues can lead from not addressing the stress in your life

Without addressing stressors, it is very likely you can develop stress-related health issues.

Create a to-do list of stressors to eliminate or reduce in order to gradually become as stress free as I can.

Identify stressors and reduce or eliminate

This Module has taught me that we can categorize our stress list items to be reduced or eliminated and there are certain ones that cannot be eliminated at all. Once we categorize them, we need to work on each one of them separately. we also need to adopt the strategies like exercising, meditation, sleeping sufficient hours, deep breathing, etc. to reduce stress overall. All this effort will definitely increase our productivity and well being in the long run.

One stressor at a time is a good strategy, but sometimes hard to do with constant distractions (email, students, coworkers, etc).

I've learned several healthy strategies in dealing with stress.

Stress can be reduced, eliminated or other alternative plans made to help reduce the stress.  For instance, make a sheet cover so the Students don't play with the CPR dummies.  In seriousness, we live this stress because it meant "success" or we thought there was no way out of our stressful situation.  If we are unable to eliminate or reduce the stressor there are other avenues to help cope with it.  For instance, find a listening ear, breathing techniques, exercise, get enough rest or even keep ourselves hydrated.  The key here it to know when stress is effecting our bodies and recognizing the physical signs; which can lead to permanent damage or unhealthy habits.

Find a better way to deal with the stress and do not go the known route of smoking or drinking, find a healthy alternative to help.

Take on only one task at a time. Once finished with that task, move down your list until you have completed all of them. I have found that writing down all of the tasks that I have in front of me helps to organize and lower my stress level.

Going for a short walk sometime during your day can help also. Just to get outside and breathe fresh air will help to clear your mind. Also, think about your plans during your time off. Go over those plans in your mind and refine them as needed. I know that last one may sound like something that can cause more stress but looking forward to something can help you focus and prep for what's ahead.

its important to remember managing stressors is not something that happens over night. overcoming one stressor at a time helps reduce stress overall. personal and professional

This course has been a good reminder of the importance of reducing stress in your life.  The strategies recommended provided many great ways to help reduce stress to improve physical and mental health.

Online only education is less controllable than blended. I turned my syllabi for such courses into a document that students must sign acknowledging that they can comply with every rule and requirement of the course (first week assignment). It helps.

I just want to take a moment to encourage you all. You can do your life!!!

Identifying which stressors can be reduce and which ones can be eliminated by making a stress list will help greatly

In our present world conditions, it will be difficult to live a stress-free life. We can eliminate or have a reduction in stress but we will not be able to live stress free. This module points out a number of ways to eliminate and or reduce stress, but that will also take so me time to do, knowing that we have been hanging on to the old ways of living and surviving with stress at home or in the workplace.

I like the idea of trying to categorize stressors in ways to reduce or eliminate
