Giving visual examples is very important, as well as delivering smooth transitions between topics to keep the class moving.

Making the connection between how the new class will build up to a better understanding of the entire picture or goal of the student will help them want to retain more of the information, because there is a chance they will need it in the future.

Learning preferences will be different for each student, therefore you should try your best to try to use each one to grab the attention of each student with each style of learning.

It was very interesting to learn about each style of testing and how they all pull from different styles of learning.

Questions are an important way to dig deeper into making sure the students are understanding what is going on and also a way for you to check yourself to make sure you are delivering the information clearly.

Check with your students to see how they learn best then see if you can incorporate those styles into your lessons.

Do not be afraid to try new teaching styles and see how the students react to it.

Do your best as an instructor to stay up to date with the ever-changing learning methods and do not be afraid to try new ways to help the students learn.

Be sure to remember to question your students and tailor them to an open-ended question to make the students really think about the answer.

Students will always try to find a shortcut or easier way to complete the task, even if this means taking longer than just doing the initial task. However, with online learning it seems to make it easier to find or take short cuts compared to hands on in person learning.
