This really makes me think to have information sectionally presented in 20-minute increments and to keep it under 7 instructions per 20 minutes. Incorporating all the different learning styles into these 20-minute sessions may be challenging but I'm sure over time Ill be able to overlap these styles.

Really try to gauge everyone's style of learning, and offer my teaching in multiple styles to help accommodate everyone.

Understanding the differently learning styles that students have is very important.  It is also important to incorporate all those teaching styles within your classroom as much as possible because it makes for a well-rounded content all your students.  It is also important to understand that adults only have a small window of time (18 minutes) that their attention spans will be available, otherwise they will get bored and tune out.  Taping your lectures, was well as having mini lectures will help in getting the content of your class accepted by your students.

There are many different styles of learning. Those styles include written word, auditory, visualization, and tactile. People learn mostly by trial and error, observation, and by doing the skill themselves. As an instructor, it is important to meet all of the learning means of my students.

I am really enjoying this course and it is getting my utterly psyched to start teaching again. The new methods of how to start a day and how to engage the students is excellent. Thank you.

18 min max is the attention span of an adult student. I will remember this and utilize time management skills to deliver instruction without burning out my students

It is important to understand the classroom's ability to concentrate and retain information.

practice a variety of delivery methods when conducting your lectures. practice and make notes after each lecture, to revisit when conducting your next lesson plan. variety is the key to keeping your students engaged.

Variety in delivery helps to keep students interested and engaged in learning.

I learned that when delivering a lecture, you must be prepared which will allow you to be creative, competent and personable.

I've learned that we have to practice demonstrations ahead of time, prepare all content before class, and include the students in the learning process involving group activities.

Be prepared and be creative. Change it up. Don't be boring

I've learned to practice ahead, get prepared, and be gentle with myself as a new instructor.

When presenting course content, you have to be cognizant of the varying learning styles of your students. Also, it is important to be well prepared to present the material so it may require some self-studying and research before teaching it to your students. Lastly, it will be beneficial to your students to incorporate diverse ways to present the material to them during class.

I’ve learn how to plan and outline my class for a better flow

preparation is key for the novice instructor.

being updated is the other key

I have learned that there are many tools to use during class time such as computer assisted teaching methods that can make learning more engaging and effective.

Vary lecture formats to keep students engage. Keep lecture short 10- 18 minutes. Things can happen and sometimes you will need to come back to the subject.

From this module, I’ve learned how critical preparation and structure are to creating a positive and effective learning environment. The importance of developing clear goals, sharing expectations early through the syllabus, and providing guidance on how to succeed really stood out to me. These steps not only set students up for success but also build trust and reduce anxiety at the start of a course.

Preparing lecture formats and lecture notes are important and making notes can be a good idea about observations. Delivering the lecture is a special form of communication in voice, gesture, movement, facial expressions and eye contact. It can serve to reinforce the content being delivered in the classroom. Teaching and demonstrating will deliver content, which will keep students engaged and interested in the course. Also, it is important to deliver lectures because it will enable students to learn materials and demonstrate and enjoy the process.
