Safety should be an ongoing part of the classroom. 

Feedback allows for adjustments to be made to the teaching process. 

The lab is the perfect learning environment for the hands-on learner. It is important to know that others learn differently, so being available to verbally educate is also important in the lab setting. 

It is interesting to think an instructor can be both the scholar and the facilitator. 

Body language is important to the class, but can also give the instructor confidence in their teachings. 

I feel that the sky is the limit when it comes to finding innovative ways to teach.

Alternative assessments allows for a different approach and can be more engaging. 

Assessments can be used to get a baseline or to monitor and make sure learning is taking place. 

This lesson has taught me that learners never outgrow the idea that being rewarded is a great motivator. 

Mutual communication is the least an instructor can do in order to show respect and that they are interested in the student learning.
