Obtaining up-to-date information of what the school is offering. The difference between Licensing and Accreditation, attending meetings. How the Transfer of Credits works with this institution as well as other institutions. Keeping a reference notebook checklist.

I have learned about the different role places by each person in the department as well as transferring credits and the process needed to obtain it.

This module further emphasized the importance of having a resource notebook and the continued importance of staying current in your industry. Luckily our institutions also have routine meetings to update us all about and changes that could affect or day to day. Knowing the importance of staying current, it gives more meaning to making the time and documenting what is shared in meetings. It also further clarified that every process or procedure, although different from one institution to another, must have clear parameters on how they do things such as credit transfers.

From this module, I learned it's essential to stay updated on new rules and industry changes. To do this, I'll check our policies regularly and stay informed with industry news. I'll also keep a checklist of documents handy to make tasks easier. It's practical to store this checklist in the workplace folder for easy access.

I’ve learned it’s important to upkeep your notebook due to on going changes. I have learned where to find information on these changes. This section touched on policies, transfer of credits and where to go to find vital information if needed.

Staying up to date on policies and transfer credits is a must when being an Admin Rep. Prospective students will always be coming to you to see if previous schooling they did will transfer and count towards their education.

I learned the difference between licensing and accreditation and that although they can be similar, they're different entirely.
