Policies regarding transfer credits vary from institution to institution. An institution is required to be licensed however, accreditation is voluntary. It is important to remain up-to-date with regulatory information and it is the responsibility of the admissions representative to stay up-to-date. 

Accurate representation of what an institution offers is necessary to meet requirements set by Fair Consumer Practices. There are many ways an institution may advertise what it has to offer to prospective students. 

I have learned that the admissions process should be highly structured to ensure adherence to regulations set by the Florida Commission for Independent Education. Paperwork should be obtained, completed, and filed in a manner which meets all regulatory criteria. I intend to use this information to stay organized and consistent when completing enrollments of future students. 

Hello, I am new to the word of admissions. This module provided a lot of information with an emphasis on complying with regulations and policies with the Florida Commission for Independent Education. Fortunately, I have a background with compliance that will hopefully aid my success in this new role. I am looking forward to learning much more from the rest of the modules.
