Training was very informative, and provided the material we all need to remain compliant
I have learned that I should be familiar with general tuition requirements and the financial assistance sources available to the student. I should also inform the student about the institution's refund policy and be able to clearly answer any questions regarding this. Having a checklist and being very organized with all of the paperwork will make the whole process easier for everyone.
Work smarter, not harder when it comes to the enrollment process. Make sure all your t's are crossed and i's are dotted before student leaves to make it easier to process
This module is a great refresher for the application and process
I learned the importance of following the correct admissions processes and utilizing the correct documents during the appropriate timeline.

It's Important to know all of the documentations and all kinds of policy your institution has for the student and also be organized so you can find all the regulations that you have to follow
In this module, I learned the difference between Florida and Illinois policies regarding financial need and interview processes.
It is important to go into student interviews prepared. This allows to best utilize my time with the student and to understand what needs to be done while with the student, rather than after.
This module is important to me as an advisor because I need to ensure I am discussing the program's expectations, such as signing the enrollment agreement and ensuring that the students I am working with have access to all information for the program and university. It is also important that I am being compliant in my conversations with the students.
What I learned from this module is very important. It is to create the student's file and ensure that every form has been signed and completed before the student can be officially enrolled at the institution.
The admissions team that works with students has to keep things organized and in order.
