Compliance remains the common denominator. Know all rules, regulations and compliance guidelines in every facet of Admissions. Social media is a powerful tool but, must be closely monitored and up to standard as far as policy, procedure and compliance. 

Familiarizing myself with rules and regulations on a quarterly basis will ensure that I am up to date on the latest addendums brought forth and standardized by all respective regulatory bodies as it pertains to my institution. 

CIE and accreditation regulating bodies require consistency, accurate, complete and on-brand transparency regarding signed contracts and prospect engagement. FERPA and other disclosures are vital to communicate and confirm clarity for every prospect. 

Compliance, transparency and providing true, complete and, accurate information is vital to prospects and will lead enrollees through enrollment and typically graduation successfully. 

Body language, tone and attitude are as important as product knowledge when connecting with a prospect. 

Active listening is key when building rapport with enrolling students. Focused listening and responses help applicants feel safe and like they're in the right place when making a decision to further their education - and choosing our school. 

Body language is fundamental to sales and incorporating student success in the Admissions world. Listening effectively and without bias are first steps to building strong rapport with applicants and will carry through to closing that enrollment successfully. Applicants feeling "heard/seen" are far more comfortable being honest with Specialists throughout enrollment. 

It is important to stay up to date and current in my knowledge base not only with CIE regulations and policies but, also in the real-world industries to which my institution offers its programs of focus. 

Refresher on Advertising standards and guidelines. 

The information in this module gave me a greater understanding of the importance of my role in each students enrollment process. It is imperative that my team's student files are immaculate and up to my institutions standards as well as the standards of the CIE.
