Even though we all have different experiences and teaching techniques, we need to make sure we understand cocepts, a flow of the lesson and how to keep students engaged in the learning .
I understabd that I need ti review my Teacher contract to ensure that I fully comprehend my roles and responsibilities as an online Instructor. Undertanding that some particulars should pay attention to such as paid and unpaid work times including if weekend work is necessary.

I feel it is necessary for the instructor to be as adept in using the CMS as the students. Students are asked to take an orientation to learn the CMS and I feel that instructors should as well. Before instruction begins the instructor needs to gain the confidence in giving support or directing students to Technical Support where necessary.
Instructors need to posess the three C's: Confidence, Communication and Course knowledge!

Since I've been remote learning, during the past couple of months, a common problem has been my parents not understanding how to log into different platforms. I need to know how to do these things so I can be more helpful.
Emergency e-learning and module-based instruction look wholly different from one another. I plan to look at other school's models of ELA instruction using Canvas or another CMS to better grasp how my classroom could look in the fall.
In an online learning environment, it is important for educators to understand their role in everything. Expectations should be set for content, amount of time, responding to emails and questions, and assessments. Educators must also be able to monitor which students are completing assignments. The educator must understand how to use the online platform in order for all of the previous expectations to be met.
I'm curious how Google Classroom could be used as a Course Management System as it lacks several elements suggestion for inclusion in a module-based course.

In order to be succesful as an online Instructor, you need to be prepared, and understand very well how to use the CMS, be familiar with the technology that we are using, because the students may need a lot of support. when developing a lesson we as Online Instructors need to Organize the class very well, to make it easy for the student to follow.
AS the instructor in online classes and in the classroom I need to have a thorough understanding of what is going on and the content that is being presented.
Switching to remote learning can be frustrating for teachers and students. However, the frustration can be lessened when the teacher becomes more familiar with technology and online teaching support. It is important to understand how to navigate the remote learning environment in order to give learners a higher sense of comfort and security.
I have learned to be patient, and ask questions as needed.
There is definitely alot more involved in online teaching methods than I first thought. I will use the ideas presented to enhance my online learning platform for my students. Having taken online classes in college, I really never realized the work that goes into the online learning teaching methods. Now that I am also providing online learning for my students, I realize the level of interaction that is neccessary to provide quality instruction.
To make sure as an instructor, complete understanding and preparation of the materials, platforms,each studnt's learning styles and adequate time for quize and exam with all type of verities of instructional tools.
