In my class, I make notes assignments where the student must take notes either during class or on the online reading that is available.

As an instructor, I know each class is a unique learning experience. I draw from other faculty, resources, and technology to tailor my lesson to my audience. Each class I teach has different dynamics, and I need to adjust it according to the needs of that day. Having clear course outcomes with a flexible lesson plan helps me perform to meet the needs of my students.
In this course, I learned about the importance of a well organized lesson plan and what should be included in a good effective lesson plan. This course reinforced "changing it up" when needed and the importance of post-class notes, especially if trying something new. Guiding new instructors to add notes to their lectures and not to read from those notes or the screen. Reminding new instructors of their work experience and the knowledge they bring to the table.

Utilizing new technologies will help keep the students engaged and excited about what they are learning and ensure that they are getting what they paid for as far as education goes (ROI).

Keeping notes is important. Over time, you can improve the class and know the gotchas that trip students up, and spend more time on these.
Support materials along with taking notes will enhance your lesson plans/lectures, there-by furthering the engagement of the students.

Support materials, such as visual aids, handouts, or digital resources, enhance understanding and engagement, while notes help both teachers and students stay focused on key concepts. Assessments, both formative and summative, provide valuable feedback on student progress and inform instructional adjustments. Using technology effectively can enhance these elements, enabling students to not only grasp the lesson content but also apply technology in both academic and real-world contexts. I plan to integrate various digital tools into my lesson plans to support learning and assess student performance while ensuring that students can apply their knowledge in practical ways.
A good teacher is always open to trying new things, using new materials and adjusting lesson to keep them engaging for students.
