Use social media to expand your teaching resources
I have to remember that I will have many different kinds of learners in my classroom. and I need to have a clear picture of the demographics of the students I currently have and will be having.
Staying up to date with new technology when presenting material keeps students engaged. However, instructors should be prepared to have a backup if and when tech fails.
I like the idea of intergrading technology into the classroom. it's something they will use in the field
2 things:
1: I need to figure out a better way of making and following bullet-pointed lecture notes in my classes. I'm either too detailed or I don't put them in a place where I will be able to refer to them in class.
2: I think I'll start going over course learning outcomes with students at the beginning of class. This seems important so that they know where they are headed.
It's important to take notes of your lesson planning. Find ways to keep a stress-free work environment for not only your students but for yourself as well.
Including new technology will assist students in understanding course content.
Support material can be very useful if its current and updated.
Lesson notes can help instructors stay organized and focused on key learning objectives during training.
Starting with the end in mind and working towards completing the lesson plan works for me.
Performance-based assessments are highly effective in that they let the students demonstrate what they know about how to handle a specific problem or situation. This form of assessment allows students the opportunity to actually perform and demonstrate different skill sets in the classroom. Performance-based assessments may include written responses, case studies, demonstrations, projects, portfolios, and presentations.
keeping up with new technology
Some of this seems to repeated info and I'm forgetting all that was covered today here but I like the idea of takig notes about what works and doesn't and keeping the lessons changing and getting better over time. Sometimes I like getting into a groove but it can sometimes become monotonous.
Even though you want your students to use a variety of different materials in the classroom, you must still introduce only what is necessary and will help you accomplish lesson plan objectives. You should not use resource materials that are inappropriate for your subject.
Utilize technology and support materials in the classroom often, if possible. Write yourself notes, as your teaching as to what did or didn't work, make changes and be adaptive to all learners. Starting with the end in mind, will allow students to know what they should expect or be expected of them when the lesson or class is complete
To give grades and understand their skill level assesment is needed.

Technology in ones career is very important to keep on top of. In my classes, almost daily we have new technologies in (Aviation) The use of support materials will give the students what they need and the teacher to teach to that.
Tech in lesson plans can help prepare students for real life.
Talk to your students what they will encounter in the real world. How its important to teach your students support material.
