regulations

Learning the regulations that the schools live under was interesting and enlightning.

Practical Compliance Information

Compliance courses such as Maxknowledge offers are a great start to understanding the importance of compliance for all personnel in our industry.  I recommend that admissions personnel receive training and information on the specific compliance/regulatory entities that govern your institution.  There are specific regulations and accrediting standards/criteria from your accrediting body and state licensing agency that can be printed, distributed, discussed etc., with admissions and other personnel.

great information!

The compliance training has been very beneficial in helping me do my job the correct way.  It is very important to follow all compliance regulations because we have the student's best interest in mind.  As an institution, following regulations will improve the integrity and reputation!

Compliance Training

This has been quite an experience.  It is a valuable tool in making sure that the staff is fully aware of what they need to do in staying in compliance from the time a potential student walks in the door.  Without this knowledge, a student can be led down the wrong path and, also important, the school could lose their Title IV funding or be closed down.  Knowing all regs while you are interviewing the prospective student, or teaching the student, is very important to you and the education institution.

Working in the education industry

I love my job! It is a pleasure working with students on a daily basis to help them further their education and reach their goals. Seeing a student progress and overcome obstacles is very fufilling. One of the best aspects of working with students is seeing them graduate and move on to better their lives and move on to their career paths.

It is great to lend a helping hand and offer advice to students and team members.

We work towards changing lives!

TEACHING

I LOVE MY JOB,I ENJOY TEACHING AND GIVING OUT MEDICAL EXPERIANCE THAT I HAVE ACQUIRED THROUGTHOUT THE MY  YEARS

Constructive Criticsim

I absolutely love my job, each days my goal is to learn from others and to apply it to my job. To be successful you have to accept that not every idea will be used, but it doesn't make them bad ideas. It is very easy to take things personel - I am guilty of that. But at the end of the day, take a step back and really listed to constructive criticism. It isn't an attack as you as a person. It is someone else trying to add value and hopefully they are thinking I love my job too.… >>>

New Career Field....Lots of Learning

I have extensive sales experience, but have never been in an educational environment before.  I never realized how many regulations there are surrounding the position that I am now in.  They completely make sense.  Especially now that a senior rep, who has been in the industry for 30 years, told me about the shady recruiting practices that took place years ago.  The course was very informative.  I enjoyed how there was not fluff around the content.  I feel that it just got down to business, which is important to me because I have a TON of things to learn about… >>>

Interesting and Helpful

For someone who is brand new in Admissions and the education business, I found the training very informative! I had no idea what went in to accreditation, how programs are formed, and the standards that our institution is held too in order to remain in business and doors open

Great tool

Learning a lot on this site.

Recruiting

A great learning tool for new recruiters!

Details

I found the course to be very informative on the "processes" of accredations and state governing approvals, knowing how programs can be approved and the steps they go through was very informative!

Compliance Performance Group

This is a great site to find information for recruiters new and experienced!

Informative course

I found this course informative from an administrative point of view.  I was a high school teacher before my new position and there are many differences between teaching and now working on the other side of education.  In my new roll I am involved with students through all aspects of their post-secondary education.  It is important for me to know the different disclosure items especially the "do's and don'ts". Also just the ins and outs of how federal regualtions affect how different departments have to do their jobs.

A More Tailored Course

I am not saying that the information was bad. In fact, I learned QUITE a bit. However, I feel that a course could be tailored more specifically to those of us that are instructors. I'm sad to say, that I won't use a majority of the information I learned. Also, in fear of giving the wrong information (since its not something I specialize in), I'm more likely to connect the student with the proper faculty member to answer these questions.

For anyone that is in admission, administration or some other section of the school, aside from academics, this course would… >>>

Compliance Course Well Organized

Hello Everyone,

I really enjoyed this course because it updated me on information that I may have otherwise become lax with. Although it was extremely long, it was interesting and well organized.

Thanks,

Informative Training with relevant examples

Although, this training course was long, the information was very clear and structured. I am glad our institution made this mandatory, so all our staff is on the "same page".

compliance training

Due to the every changing requirements of compliance issues it is very hard to keep up with. I feel that this was about the best presentation that I have ever seen
