A positive attitude can set an example for everyone around you. It is highly contagious. If we show our students that we enjoy what we are doing and we are there to help and encourage them, it can make a huge impact on them. Sometimes just having someone smile and say "You can do this" is all the student needs to move forward.

Your attitude affects everyone around you. If you want to work in a positive, uplifting environment then you have to contribute positive energy. It is also to keep positive interactions with the customers/students coming into your business/school so they will want to continue to do business with you.

I learned that attitude is divided into four components: affective, cognitive, conative, and evaluative

I have learned how attitude can play a major role not just in your workplace but also your life.

Attitude is everything. Maintaining a positive attitude will set the tone for your customer/student. You must "sell" or "promote" yourself and your energy before you can successfully sell a product or a service.

Your attitude affects more than just yourself. It can improve your co-workers attitudes and the students' attitudes.

Your attitude plays a significant role in how you approach life and its challenges. It is a choice that we make every day.

I have learned that attitude is 50% of your success ! I plan on reading the books referenced in the text better understand how attitude can help me become more successful in my everyday life.

Having a positive attitude towards our work and personal actions allows us to advance and evolve correctly.
Likewise, it allows us to influence others in a purposeful and effective way.

A key component to having a successful educational facility is ensuring that the students have a positive experience. Those who work in admissions and other areas of the school are directly related to that outcome. The largest factor in having a successful relationship with students is attitude. If the admissions person has a positive attitude about the school and job that they are doing there will likely be a positive experience had by the student.

A big component of success on any level is truly understanding and effectively guiding-directing self.

Positive attitude is infectious aura that helps friends and colleagues feel good being around you to learn more in what you may have to offer. Which helps them teach and be a pleasant person to be around for the students.

I have learned that having a positive attitude helps to ensure that I will be successful in my role. Additionally, a good attitude will positively impact the students and coworkers.

In this unit, I learned that my attitude not only impacts my own ability to work, but the relationships that I form with my coworkers- and potentially their attitude as well. To do our best work with our students, we do need to control our attitudes. This can be applied to our day to day work by monitoring how we respond to various situations and working to keep a positive attitude for the wellbeing of ourselves and our students.

50% of your success is attributed to your attitude! I had no idea! That is something to be mindful of every day.

Good examples of positive attitude include smiling and greeting people at work when you meet them – it is an excellent way to start the day. You will be surprised how many people look disgruntled or downright grumpy when they walk into work daily. Students will gravitate to a positive attitude and feel comfort.

It is important to realize the impact our attitude has on others. We can do great harm to our students and also cause them to not want to come to our school if we are not mindful of our attitude. It is also important to note we determine our attitude.
