It is important that each person at our institution be on the same page with customer service. We need to put the customer (student) first and make sure that we giving them our complete attention with each interaction.

Providing good internal customer service will lead to good external customer service. It is important to know who you work with and what they do. This will help us be able to work better as a team to provide excellent customer service to our students, employers, and community.

We need to make our best attempt to present our institution in a positive light to our students, their future employers, and the community. When a student comes to campus, we need to make that experience the best that it can be. If we will just take our time and show each potential student, and their family, how much we care, it can make a huge difference in how our college is perceived.

Customer service is very important in any business. In higher education, it is important that we learn our students names and work hard to build positive relationships with them. As we build these relationships, the students will then become promoters of our colleges to others.

It is important to be very respective and encouraging to each team member. It is also important to recognize others accomplishments and offer positive feedback when able.

I have always been a multitasker, and was surprised to learn that it actually decreases my productivity. It is important to establish and prioritize tasks for each day.

When working from home, it is important to set up the right environment. I need to recognize what my distractions might be and try to reduce them. It is also important to have daily schedules, that are flexible, to help stay on task.

There are both benefits and challenges of working remotely. However, there are ways to help remote work to be safe and effective. It is important that there is good communication from both employee and employer.

This module helped me examine how I approach students who are ESL learners. I need to encourage students to continue to use their "mother tongue" as they learn English.

It is important that instructors set an example in including each student in a respectful way so that students will have a comfortable learning environment.
