Overtaking happens when you prepare your response before the speaker finishes, which prevents you from fully listening and understanding their message. To improve communication, you should focus on truly listening and avoiding premature responses.

I learned that the use of negative words in questions can harm rapport and make the other person feel defensive or discouraged. Most negative questions are accusatory, so caution must be practiced and should be avoided. I can apply the concept by rephrasing my questions to be positive and open-ended, so they can promote collaboration and understanding.

I learned that closed-ended questions provide brief, specific answers and help clarify, verify, or control a conversation. Open-ended questions encourage detailed responses, promote understanding, and allow deeper insights.

Positive attitude is infectious aura that helps friends and colleagues feel good being around you to learn more in what you may have to offer. Which helps them teach and be a pleasant person to be around for the students.
