As someone new the instructing field, there were many good points addressed. Three important roles of an instructor are model, manager, and motivator. Leading by example is key. It is important to be passionate about what you are teaching and display that with your words and actions. It is also important to show your students that you care about them as individuals. Students need support, encouragement, in addition to timely constructive feedback. Be their cheerleader along the way. Enjoy your work by inserting your personality. Be flexible and humble. Establishing rapport is just as important as the content you are teaching. Be prepared and ready to hit the ground running.

Having good hygiene and coming to class in professional attire are two ways to show professionalism and that you are prepared. Arriving at least 15 minutes before students arrive and having everything prepared will signal to students that you are prepared and excited to teach.
Your students can be a mirror reflection of how you present yourself. If you are professional and respectful they will mirror that. If you are prepared they will mirror that. If you are excited and engaged they will mirror that!
That you are there to be a example and to display professionalism and support.
