Separation of Duties Structure

I do not work in our financial aid department, but as I understand there is a separation of duties regarding which financial aid analysts can compile the financial aid plan for students who are then transitioned to another financial aid representative who assists them as they are continuing students. The duties of the financial aid department cannot be duplicated by anyone in the enrollment or registrar department.

We are currently working on an improved system as we speak. From having a control on the admissions pieces tht are produced, and a centralized repository of this standard data collection. Once the standard data collection is complete, and a standard template by program, is developed - these materials will be approved by compliance, marked approved, and campuses will be able to centrally order materials as well.

What is My Role?

I have worked in admissions before and so I have had some great experiences that influence what I believe my role is. I believe my role is ask questions and determine is the school is a good fit the student, but also that the student it a good fit for the school. Then it is my duty be create a professionsl, comfortable and pleasant admissions experience for the student.

The Impact of Disability in the Classroom...

Those who are disbled should receive the same opportunity as others when education is involved. However, when in a classroom and certain distractions or outbursts are created they do need to be addressed. One person can prevent the whole class from being able to learn properly, whether they are disabled or not.
