Students are actively involved in their learning and demonstrates a better understanding of the content. The students are able to interact with the instructors / ask questions and the instructor can also track the student's progress.

This module actually will aid me in becoming a better teacher.  I will be attentive to the students, my style, and look for any disconnects which will deter the learning process.

I thought this was very useful. IT made me think of teaching in a different light.

I learned that in evolving as an instructor, I'm going to be able to point out my own flaws as an educator. I am not going to get it right 100% of the time, however I need to be ok with someone telling me I'm wrong, and learning from it, and using that to make me a better educator.

I really enjoyed this module because it reminded me of the reason I got into education in the first place. Students need positive role models-someone they can look up to, learn from, an feel supported by. I learned that as an instructor, or even simply as someone in leadership role, it's essential to always set the standard and lead by example. We have the responsibility to show our students what professionalism, compassion, and dedication look like in the field. 

There are many ways to ask the same question, and depending how the question is asked the answer may vary.

I learned that active learning promotes deeper understanding and student engagement by shifting from passive listening to active participation. Incorporating activities like case studies, group discussions, and simulation enhances critical thinking and helps students bridge the gap between knowledge and clinical practice.

I've made up some fun games that the students love to participate in while we are in class. Is there anything else I can do to keep them motivated.

As an instructor, I find this course highly valuable because it clearly outlines the fundamental roles and responsibilities of teachers in educational settings. The focus on planning, preparation, and effective delivery of course content is particularly helpful for building confidence in new educators. Additionally, the practical strategies for managing the first class meeting are essential for setting a positive tone from the start. Even as an experienced teacher, I appreciate the opportunity to revisit and strengthen these core teaching skills.

Keep an open mind that everyone's opinion and contribution to building collaborative learning is important.  Opinions matter, and they can be different. This helps to bring respect and trust.  I believe this will foster growth and provide an opportunity to expand on different teaching methods.

There are more variations in teaching methods utilized in the Flipped Classroom.  This is effective and comes with a lot of complaints from some students because they say they feel like they are teaching themselves.  What most don't understand is that they are actually learning.  Flipping the classroom depends on the instructor's technical skills and the level of assistance needed.

Teachers in early education are interacting often and explaining with repeated information to the students, and when watching, you can observe the drive that the young student has to know more.  A great opportunity for the Teacher to develop questions, and when they understand, the children climb the stairs of knowledge.  I love to see this enthusiasm.

I like the idea of using index cards to get to know SNs names. I, also, like the idea of arranging students in a circle/half circle, when able.

Another method I have used is upon calling a student with a raised hand, have them state their names. This was helpful, too!

I've been teaching for almost 20 years. One thing that helped when I first started was being reminded by a mentor that regardless of being NEW at teaching, I knew MORE on the content than the students, :-).
