I recently completed Module ED106.  I found it to be refreshing to see an increased interest in addressing the needs of students with learning disabilities that are attending career colleges.  Often most people think of post-secondary education as only traditional institutions of higher learning - colleges and universities.  However, adequate overall learning is important in career colleges, as well.  Thank you for reminding me of the increasing need that is being presented in our schools.

Even as a seasoned instructor in the medical profession it is always good to step back and learn new and sometimes forgotten material to make you a better instructor. This course reminded me of things that I have used in the past and have stopped using. seeing them in a new light and understanding.

I think every instructor should be encourage to take this course.  The courses helps you as an instructor, discover your strength and weakeness. The course test your knowledge of what you know and don't know and what you need to know and should know as an instructor whether you have  problem issues in the class of not. With the blog and group discussion we are able to communicate with other instructors and find out other methods in handling these situations that we can face or have face as an instructor in the classroom..

I found this course to be the most interesting!!! it showed me several ways to teach my terminology class with several different activities and I loved this class course!!!

I throughly enjoyed the ED104 course. It made very clear points on some of my own weak spots as an instructor and how to solve them, and also suggested very effective ways to deal with problematic students. I'll make sure to keep these concepts in mind for my next class!. I would recommend my colleagues to take this course, it was very informative.

This development program I found to be very structured. I enjoyed the study sections that allowed you to use flashcards by quizzing yourself. I enjoyed it.

This course was very interesting and informative. What I learned will help me expand on the many techniques. The disabled students require me to use many teaching techniques in order to help them apply thier newly developed knowledge. Placing them in groups is a good way for them to learn and develope team work.

I like having class discussions and having the students work in groups and also using case study and problem based learning in the classroom.

I will try and have students work in groups more often. This course help me to see the advantages.

This is my first On line course and I truely enjoyed the experience.  I left Health Care Administration after 36 years and am currently teaching part time.  Which I also love.  I was glad to see that I started my teaching career on the right foot after participating in 104 and reading the forums.  I also picked up a few new ideas for my future classes.

I look forward to continuing with MaxKnowledge on line courses.

Taking the ED104 course help me to see educational situations from a students perspective. The course reminded me of how students may feel in different situations and how to handle different situations as an educator. I thought it was a great course!

Taking the ED104 course was a wonderful experience.  I am new to the education industry and have been trying to think of and develop was to be great at my job, this course opened my eyes to a lot of helpful ideas and strategies.

So far, I enjoyed this course the most.  I have taken several Maxkowledge courses and always find them beneficial.  ED104 has been a great reminder of many aspects we need to be aware of and practicing as teaching professionals.

I was unexpectedly surprised by how relevant I found ED 104 to be.  I am instructor who teaches brand new students and some of the most challenging parts of teaching students at this stage in the game is knowing how to set clear expectations, to create a comfortable learning environment that allows them to succeed and how to get underperforming students to increase their interest and "buy in" into the class.  This class brought about some great points that I will keep in mind as I start a new group of students in a few weeks.

Taking a self assessment on myself while working through each course has given me an idea to go back and evaluate myself. I have been teaching for about 12 years now and at times i forget about how i felt when I was a student learning. I have beeen teaching in the career collages for over 6 years. A Lot of the information in this course was not new information to me. As I was going thru, I started to do a self-assesment and I have forgotten the importance of all  the different ways for the delivery of content. I teach some of the same classes over and over again and I think that I have started to gear the flow of the classes to my needs instead of all of the students. Understanding the three majors roles played by insturctors model, manager, and motivator was very helpful to me. 

Good class overall.  It is good to review learning styles and hear what other instructors have used successfully in their classes over time.  I did enjoy the opportunity to refresh my educational methods and gain new insights.
