I found most of the content relevant to challenges I face on a daily basis during my classes.  Management of the classroom environment is difficult at times when dealing with certain student types.  I will try some of the techniques I have learned here in my next class.

What makes a good instructor

Everyone wants to teach, should everyone be an teacher.

EL107

I felt EL107 was a great learning experience for me. I feel I need to learn as much of the new technology as our students in order to hold their interest and provide ultimate learning outcomes.

EL101

This training was very helpful and informative. Some of the information I was aware, but it opened a whole new understanding of certain areas in teaching. I looking forward to gaining more knowledge in these training courses.

EL104

This course gives great guidance and direction in creating an online learning environment that is effective and user friendly for students. I really enjoyed the material.

ED104

I have been teaching at the career college for about 2 years. I see the importance of becoming an accomplished intrinsic and extrinsic motivating instructor as well as the subject matter expert I am. While many people know their field they may not have the training to teach in the field using both of these methods. That is why I have found this course to be helpful and useful in my instructor career.

ED 106

I've learned so much from this course. it was very informative and I will be sure to use all of the great ideas with my class next term.

ED 105

I found this course to be a great review as well as informational. It helps to remind instructors where to focus their teaching. i just finished a term with a group of difficult students. They tended to be occupied with other course work, texting, playing video games on their iPads, or even watching movies rather than listen or participate in what I was teaching. I will use some of the suggestions in this course to get students on task for my next term.

Hello:

This is a must have course. I was able to learn about the copyright laws and how to protect myself from being sued. This course is very informative and a must have for those working in the for-profit setting. It is important to learn how to protect yourself from copyright infringement and this course provides the information that is needed.

I really enjoy taking the CE courses on Max Knowledge. I feel they help me develop my teaching skills as well as my learning skills. I just finished ED 101. I will be putting to use some of the ideas it gave me to better the classrooom experience. Thank you for providing these courses for us.

ED 113

I really enjoyed taking the ED 113 course. This course gave me some very valuable insights into how to improve my classroom management style.  It is nice to see that I am already doing some things well, but there is always room for some inprovement.  It can be a bit tricky to manage a class of mixed demographics, younger students without a lot of college and older adults going back to school to start another career. These hints will really help me in myability to become a better "Guide." Thank you.   Mindy Smith

Technology in Education: Teacher Tips for Integrating Technology

Integrating technology into the classroom is all about letting the students guide you instead of the other way around. Put technology tools in the hands of the students and ask, “What would you do with this?” They might come up with ideas you’ve never thought about. In this short video, Mark Valenti CTS, President and CEO of The Sextant Group, discusses the 4 Cs that help teachers integrate technology into the classroom: Create, Consume, Collaborate and Communicate.

Found a lot of great tips and techniques I plan on adopting into my lesson planning! It was also nice to notice that I wasn't too far off base on how I am currently doing things.

I definitely recommend this course if you need to brush up on your Lesson Planning! :)

EL 106

I found that EL 106 was extremely useful course.  It was an eye-opener on the various types of assessments available.  I feel that incorporating a combination of objective and subjective evaluations in the classroom will benefit the students.  In addition, it is important to include value added assessments, since these type of assessments assists in determining student growth.
