EL 106
I found that EL 106 was extremely useful course. It was an eye-opener on the various types of assessments available. I feel that incorporating a combination of objective and subjective evaluations in the classroom will benefit the students. In addition, it is important to include value added assessments, since these type of assessments assists in determining student growth.
I found the 102 course very interesting because you dont realize how much thought really goes into teaching on a daily basis untill you start breaking it down like this cousre did.

Understanding that the adult learner comes from many different backgrounds, has many different life experiences, many different motivations for coming to school, and many different learning style preferences is a key to creating a successful learning experience. UTilizing different types of assesments is part of this process.
I agree that the course was extremely useful and interesting.
