I enjoyed the course.  I did find it helpful...quite frankly, it made me re-evaluate my methods again.  It did help to reinvigorate...coincidently at the mid-point of my semester.

This was an interesting training class. Although, I found the information very useful; I did notice you had to read between the lines when it came down to answering the questions on the quiz. For the most part, great information. 

Great course. It has inspired me to find ways to incorporate video lectures outside of the classroom. I already practice being a "guide-on-the-side" during classroom sessions with hands-on activities, but that is only after I have spent classroom time lecturing a topic which was already assigned as reading. My challenge is that students rarely read or have a hard time interpreting the information without additional explanation.

I found the course to be very beneficial for review. It helped bring focus back to skills that were not being used or forgotten. 

This was a very helpful course for me since its my first time teaching adult students. I highly recommand this course. I learned so many things about methods used in teaching adults which will help me alot in my career.

This was an excellent course for me to read. This gave me a variety of ideas and reasons WHY some of my students respond the way they do. Now I have a better understanding of the generation & there learning methods. I feel liberated! When you know better , you can teach better!

This course was very informative and I will be sure to apply all of the information I have learned to my class.

EL108 - Preparing Students to Become Good Online Learners is a wonderful course with practical information that every instructor needs to know. Highly recommended!

After years of teaching one can get comfortable in their style and somewhat complacent in planning/delivering course.  Good course to remind one to comply with the suggestions for being the best instructor impossible.

Although most educators have learned these theories and use them in delivering their classes, this course was a great reminded to collectively recall the vast body of theories and knowledge that we must consider to be effective educators.  I think often we tend to gravitate to the theory/style we are most comfortable with, then try to get everyone to learn through a single modality.  This course reminded me that we must "level the playing field" by using best practices and truly understanding each group of students, what syles they are most likely to be effective with, and what motivates them. … >>>

ED107 is a well designed informative course.  This one is worth you time to take.

A great course to help connect with, understand and motivate adult learners.  It will motivate me to take time, pay attention to their backgrounds, motivations, purposes and to create opportunties to bring life experiences into discussions for the welfare of others. 

ED104 is a great training course for the new instructor.

I really enjoyed this course!  It gave me some great ideas for teaching in an unconventional manner.  I am always looking for new ways to teach critical thinking and I definitely have some now!  My hat goes off to Ms. Deck - what a creative innovator!!!

Great module for the first course for new instructors, and a great review for well seasoned instructors to pick up a tip they may have forgotten about.

I found the content of this course to be interesting in helpfull.  It helped me evaluate how I make up test for my classes.

This course was very informative! I enjoyed learning the different ways to execute my lesson plan.

Very suprised that much of the content was very useful as I am beginning my 3rd year as an instructor. Thought i was alone in trying to time out my lectures.

I am surprised how many instructors I talk with who say that they are basically teaching their on-line courses the same way they taught face-to-face. If they incorporated student-centered learning and lost of cooperative group activities, this may be oaky. I fear that some are referring to the cycle of "lecture, practice, quiz." What do others think?
